Youth football clubs from at least 32 states have arrived Kano Stars for this year’s Youth Sports Federation of Nigerian, YSFON, organized Ramat International Cup for under 16.
As at yesterday, more teams were pleading with the organisers to extend registration deadline to enable them meet up with the tournament following some challenges they encountered on their way to the venue of the competition.
Meanwhile defending champions, Kano State will begin the quest to retain the trophy in Group A alongside Rivers, Zamfara, Ogun and Jigawa States.
The draws which held yesterday pitched Sokoto, FCT, Ekiti, Kogi and Adamawa States in Group B while group C has Plateau, Niger, Oyo, Bauchi and Kebbi.
In Group D, Kwara alongside Taraba, Osun, Kaduna and Edo will battle one another for a ticket to the next round.
The camp for the players and officials has been a beehive of activities as the players and officials mingle freely as they await the kick-off of hostilities.
