Barcelona are preparing an offer of €70 million plus a midfielder to secure the highly-demanded Inter strikerLautaro Martinez.

Don Balon claims that Barcelona are committed to bolster their attack with Lautaro Martinez and are planning to reduce the Argentine’s €110 million release clause by including Arthuro Vidal in the deal.

The 22-year-old striker has been in outstanding form having scored 13 goals and providing another three assists in 20 appearances for the Italian club, Inter Milan, this season. The Argentine is a valuable asset for the Italian giants but has been repeatedly linked with an exit to many different clubs.

2020 would be the perfect year to bring in the young striker to Camp Nou as Luis Suarez does not have many more years under him and with him becoming increasingly injury-prone screams for a back up no. 9. Thus while the Uruguayan international moves closer to the twilight of his career, it will give ample time for any new reinforcement to settle in and understand the Barca way.

Barca are planning to secure the center-forward ahead of other European clubs by including Arthuro Vidal in the operation.Mundo Deportivo reports that Inter’s coach, Antonio Conte, is a fan of the Chilean from his Juventus days and the Italian club’s much-needed reinforcements in the midfield can make Vidal an ideal option.

Arthuro Vidal has already made it clear that he is unhappy with his current playtime with the Spanish champions and if nothing changes, he will be open to move on from the Nou Camp. The midfielder has managed only 14 appearances this season, only four of those being as a starter. While the destination remains to be seen, the 32-year-old is closing in on an inevitable exit from the Spanish giants.

It is yet to be seen if Inter will consider this offer from the Catalan giants but it would be smart to cash in on the young forward while his demand is high.
