Pochettino had been manager of Tottenham since 2014, and after a five-and-a-half year spell in charge, he is making the most of an extended rest.

It has previously been reported that Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester United are all possibilities that could have manager vacancies open in the future.
He has also been linked with the vacant Arsenal job, with Tottenham’s north London rivals reportedly interested in swooping for Pochettino.
