Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has RULED OUT selling Chelsea, according to an exclusive via reliableTelegraph.
There had been rumours that the Russian businessman was considering selling the club over the past year or so, ever since he had been experiencing VISA issues to enter the UK.
Since then he has been unable to get to the matches at Stamford Bridge and has had to make do with attending some of the European games away from home.
But The Telegraph have now revealed that any chance of Abramovich selling Chelsea has been ruled out, with friends insisting his love affair with the club has been reignited by Frank Lampard’s revolution.
They disclose that offers have come in for Chelsea, but none of them were near what Abramovich would consider.
However, they report that since then he has subsequently lost interest in any sale, and is said to be thrilled by the progress of the side under Lampard.
It will be interesting to see if he backs Lampard now with a large pot of transfer funds!
