Dani Alves is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League this summer – but will the Brazilian pick Arsenal over Manchester City and Tottenham?

According to reliable websiteGlobo Esporte, cited by Sports Witness, the 36-year-old, who is currently a free agent following his departure from Paris Saint-Germain, is keen on moving to England.

The report states that Pep Guardiola is keen on signing the right-back following his impressive Copa America campaign, with Alves also on Arsenal’s radar ahead of a potential free transfer.

Tottenham have also been credited with an interest in the player, but would the veteran choose Arsenal over both Spurs and City?

If game time is what the Brazilian is after, Arsenal would certainly be in with a chance of signing the player.

The Gunners currently have Hector Bellerin and Ainsley Maitland-Niles available at right-back, however, Unai Emery would more than likely hand Alves a regular starting spot.

Tottenham could also give the experienced defender regular minutes on the pitch, especially with Kieran Trippier thought to be closing in on a move to Atletico Madrid, which would see the Brazilian battle it out with Serge Aurier for a starting spot.

Alves could find nailing down a starting spot at the Etihad the hardest challenge, with Kyle Walker currently Guardiola’s first-choice right-back.

If Champions League football is what Alves is after, Arsenal would be ruled out of a move, with Spurs and City both qualifying for Europe’s elite competition last season.

It remains to be seen as to where Alves’ preferred destination is, however, Arsenal could well have an outside chance of landing the world-class right-back, a move most Gunners fans would more than likely welcome.
