The USWNT were honored for their fourth world cup title Wednesday morning in New York City with a ticker tape parade. The players and coaching staff received keys to the city from Mayor Bill de Blasio and fans cheered them on along with chants of “equal pay” along the route. USWNT team captain Megan Rapinoe addressed the crowd with an inspiring speech asking for support and unity. At the Summer Universiade games in Naples, Dutee Chand made history becoming the first female Indian track and field athlete to clinch a gold medal in the 100 meter at a global event. The 90th edition of the MLB All-Star Game, the American League extended their streak to seven straight, winning over the National League 4-3. RT America’s Steve Christakos reports.
