Ben Davison responds to Dillian Whyte’s comments made in talkSPORT column

Ben Davison has responded to Dillian Whyte after the heavyweight ripped into him in a recent talkSPORT column.

Whyte dedicated a section of his piece to criticise Tyson Fury’s coach, after he said he felt the ‘Body Snatcher’ would not be the toughest style match-up for Fury.

Davison gave his responseiFL TV: “So we had, ’Ben’s not improved Tyson’ – we had that. I didn’t pick up a Tyson Fury that was fit, in shape, ready to box.

“We went from Monaco [350lbs, November 2017] to what he did in LA [against Deontay Wilder, December 2018].

“So there’s no substance behind that. Everybody knows where Tyson’s come from, what he’s achieved.”
