Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has been shortlisted among seven Premier League players for the 2018-19 EA Premier League player of the season.
The Belgian has been a standout performer for the Blues – scoring 16 goals and 15 assists in 36 appearances this campaign.
Liverpool trio of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are also nominated for the prestigious prize as the season wraps up this weekend. While Manchester City’s attacking trio of Bernando Silva, Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling complete the seven man shortlist of the award. Salah tops the Premier League goals scorer’s chart with 22 goals, while Mane and Van Dijk have 20 and 4 goals respectively.
As the Merseyside outfit seriously contending to win the English topflight title for the first time in about three decades.
