Chelsea news: Eden Hazard pleads with Marina Granovskaia to facilitate quick Real transfer.

May 10, 2019

Eden Hazard has urged Chelsea to wrap up his transfer to Real Madrid as quickly as possible, reports say.

The Belgian has his heart set on a switch to Real and is in regular contact with Zinedine Zidane about a potential move.

ESPN claim Hazard has told Chelsea he wants to join Real as early as possible in the summer, but the Blues are refusing to budge on their asking price.

Chelsea want £100million for Hazard and are determined not to sell below that figure, considering Hazard’s performances in the last three years at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard is regarded among the best players in the Premier League and Zidane wants to build his new Real side around the talented playmaker.

Despite Chelsea’s firm stance, Hazard has already begun looking for houses and school options for his family in Madrid.

Hazard expects to be allowed to join Real after Chelsea blocked his attempts to leave the club last summer, insisting they could not afford to lose their star man as well as Thibaut Courtois.

Club director Marina Granovskaia has been approached by Hazard to facilitate a quick move, but Real are yet to indicate if they are willing to match Chelsea’s asking price.

As a result, Chelsea are prepared to wait as long as it takes for Real to come round.

Hazard will enter the final 12 months of his contract this summer and has rejected all attempts from Chelsea to extend the deal.

Chelsea are currently barred from signing any new players and saw their transfer ban appeal rejected by Fifa this week.

The Blues are expected to continue fighting for the ban to be struck off through the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
